    Kristen has worked for South Dakota Mines since 2014 and was based on campus until 2017. Now she lives and works in Colorado so she can work more directly with local students and families. She also works with freshmen from Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

    Beginning in November, high school seniors accepted to South Dakota Mines will have an online enrollment checklist to help them prepare for their first semester on campus.

    From the checklist, students will activate important accounts including their new Hardrocker email - which campus offices will start using right away to share information and updates.

    Activate your Self-Service Banner portal to view your course schedule and financial aid. The log in information is the same as your checklist.

    February 1st: You will be able to fill out a survey which will let the Registrar's Office know to create your fall semester schedule.

    March 25th:  The housing application opens for fall housing--be sure to have your housing deposit ready. The priority deadline is June 1.

    Late April: Financial Aid offers will be sent out. Look for a packet in the mail and an email sent to your university email account.
