    Kristen has worked for South Dakota Mines since 2014 and was based on campus until 2017. Now she lives and works in Colorado so she can work more directly with local students and families. She also works with freshmen from New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming. Kristen knows what it's like to live in the beautiful Black Hills and is excited to share information and advice about the amazing opportunities at South Dakota Mines.

    Beginning in November, high school seniors accepted to South Dakota Mines will have an online enrollment checklist to help them prepare for their first semester on campus.

    From the checklist, students will activate important accounts including their new Hardrocker email - which campus offices will start using right away to share information and updates.

    Activate your Self-Service Banner portal to view your course schedule and financial aid. The log in information is the same as your checklist.

    February 1st: Students will be able to fill out a survey which will let the Registrar's Office know to create their fall semester schedule.

    February 13th:  The housing application opens for fall housing--be sure to have your housing deposit ready to save your place in line for housing style preference.
