Hardrocker Hangouts


    Hang Out With Us!

    Use our online chat platform to talk with admission counselors, current student ambassadors, and other prospective students. 

    The Hardrocker Hangouts give you a chance to ask questions about becoming a Hardrocker and get information on topics like clubs/organizations, housing, internships, research, career opportunities, majors, and life in the Black Hills, while also connecting with other students who are interested in SD Mines.

    Choose from a group chat dedicated to accepted students or sign up for the junior group chat. Then join any time during the chat times using the access link in your confirmation email.

    Accepted Students Group Chats are on Thursdays, and Junior Group Chats are on Wednesdays.

    To register for an online chat , select a date below, and then click on either the Accepted Students Group Chat or Junior Group Chat depending on your admissions status. This will take you to the registration form and on your way to chatting with us! 

    After submitting the registration form, look for an email with the access link and information you need to join the chat.

    Please note that the chat times are in Mountain Daylight Time.
